Configuration of Railway Signaling System
The Railway Signaling System consists of the Central Control Room (ATS), the Station Signaling Equipment Room and the wayside facility.
- The ATS monitors and controls train operation, comprehensively manages data on signaling equipment, and monitors and controls the entire signaling system.
- Station Signaling Equipment Room is equipped with electronic interlocking, wayside ATP/ATO equipment, consoles and communication interface devices to monitor and control wayside facilities.
- The wayside facility receives control information from the station signaling equipment room, controls train operation, and sends the train status information to the station signaling equipment room.
